Unbiased GPU path tracing for Cinema 4D, real-time Live Viewer and NPR.
Shuaa Renderer Beta Sneak Peek
Features
What is in the Beta.

01
Live Viewer
Renders inside Cinema 4D while you work. Sends a render to the Picture Viewer, and turns the denoiser on and off.

02
Shuaa Material
A physically based material: base, metalness, roughness, coat, sheen, transmission, subsurface, emission.

03
Node editor
Fourteen Shuaa nodes: Texture, Noise, Gradient, Falloff, Mix, Layer, Math, Float, Invert, Curvature, Fresnel, Triplanar, Color Correction and Transform.

04
Light transport
Random-walk subsurface scattering, glass with absorption, and caustics.

05
Volumes
VDB Smoke and Fire. Shuaa Fog for Atmosphere and Light Beams.

06
Sky and environment
Shuaa Sky & Sun, and HDRI environments.

07
Camera
Depth of field with bokeh. Motion blur for the camera, moving objects and deforming meshes.

08
Geometry
Micro-displacement, renderable splines and particles.

09
Stylized (NPR)
Banded, cel-style shading from lights and the environment, and outlines. Set per material.

10
Scene translation
Objects, cameras, lights, MoGraph clones, hair, particles and splines. No export.
11
Output
Render passes to multi-layer EXR. OptiX denoiser.
12
Memory
Scenes larger than the card's video memory still render, more slowly.
13
Unbiased by default
Shuaa traces paths without bias by default. Any setting that adds bias says so in a note beneath it.
